Description
I've wanted to wear my Sabriel cosplay to the MN Ren Fest, but I didn't want anything to happen to it. So... I created this version of the surcoat! It's completely washable, and will be cooler outside. I dyed some extra fabric I had, made a key-pattern stencil, then stenciled on keys with silver fabric paint. I then drew over some of the keys with silver paint sharpie. I decided not to sharpie all the keys... I feel like this gives it a fun, shimmering look. Added some toggles for the clasps. Soo excited to wear it to Ren Fest in a couple weeks!

The keys are drawn on with a silver paint sharpie. On first pass, the paint sank into the fabric. So I went back over many of the keys with the pen again. That's why many are brighter. Kinda caused a shimmering look.
